The Passage

I initiate through two paths. Through written word, where text itself carries disruption and awakens memory, each phrase a chisel striking against the stone of forgetting. And through live rite, where I use EMDR as a spiritual threshold, a practice I was certified in as a therapist but now wield solely as a passage into remembering. In this rite your eyes move, your body endures, and the mind’s grip begins to loosen. What was buried begins to surface. You endure drowning in the darkness of memory until the hidden light reveals itself.
